Thermal catalytic transformation of CO2 involves the hydrogenation reaction at relatively low temperatures (≤523 K) to produce useful fuels such as CO, methane, and methanol. It is called CO2 Conversion.

CO2 utilization is an industrial process that makes an economically valuable product using CO2 at absorption above atmospheric levels.
